The SBX-800NXT boosts the 806-821 MHz ESMR radio frequencies used on all Nextel/ Southern-Linc/ Clear-Net/ Boost/ iDen mobile phones capable of an external antenna RF adapter cable. The SBX-800NXT booster amplifier boosts the radio signal performance by at least six fold, greatly enhancing sound quality, range and network access, while reducing the number of dropped calls and disconnections. The SBX-800NXT booster amplifier can be used in a vehicle, boat, home or office, which results in wider area coverage and increased signal strength in weak coverage areas. Nextel/ Southern-Linc/ Clear-Net/ Boost/ iDen mobile phones can either be connected via the Motorola iDen car kits, or directly to your phone with an External Antenna RF adapter cable for Nextel i530 / i533 / i710 / i720 / i730 / i733 / i736 / i740 (354007), OR an External Antenna RF adapter cable for Nextel i305 / i315 / i325 / i355 (#354008) and an external mounted antenna. The booster is powered from any suitable 12 or 24 Volt DC power source of 2 amps or more, although typical draw is only 0.5 amps. Operating temperature range is -22 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, or 30 to 60 degrees Celsius. Size is 3.7" Wide x 1.5" High x4.8" Long. Weighs less than 1 pound!
