Approximately 32 inches overall length. Nut to bridge is 25.125 inches. The bowl is slightly tear-drop shaped, with a very attractive rosette and stave construction. It is 13. 5 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep. There are 7 strings, in courses of 2; 4 are nylon and 3 are silver wound. Tied, movable nylon frets. Zippered case included. Comes set up for CGDA tuning. Or you can use lighter strings for GDAE octave mandolin tuning. Included FREE: "The Ultimate Fretted Tuning Chart"This chart contains 87 tunings (47 for guitar) for various common and hard to find instruments. The accompanying CD has all the tunings played on the actual instruments. Many tunings are offered for most instruments. Instruments include guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, bass, harp guitar, balalaika, oud/Lute, charrango, bouzouki, tres, ukulele, bajo sexto, dobro/lap steel, vihuela and requinto. Included are the most common tunings as well as many exotic tunings.Note: Whether you purchase an instrument on-line or from a physical store locally, it is recommended that you change the strings on your new instrument as soon as you receive it. The strings of an instrument both in a store or shipped to you are exposed to air and different environments prior to you receiving it. During this time the strings WILL oxidize, decreasing it's life expectancy and reducing the quality of it's sound. On occasion instruments may even arrive with a broken string, therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings as soon as it arrives. Stealth Tune Embedded Guitar Strap Tuner - Poly Strap The 'Stealth Tune' embedded guitar strap/tuner works by receiving vibrations from the instrument the strap is attached to. Using unique "Resonance transducer technology" the tuner operates as a "true bypass" system. No electrical connection is required to operate the tuner. The tuner does not rely on an audible tone therefore any guitar or bass (electric or acoustic) can be tuned even with the volume off.
