Skagerak Denmark GD600 A life style characterized by romance and delight will never die out - and neither will the designs, that with soft forms and elegant curves are an expression of nostalgia and traditions and connect values of the past with demands of today. Way back at the end of the 1800-hundreds the ideal of the Grenen furniture adorned the gardens of Skagen. The modern version with galvanized metal frame and solid teak slats both keeps the light expression of the ideal and gives priority to comfort. Skagerak Denmark 1082000 Only few things will remain unchanged for centuries and outlive generation by generation. But the light along the most northern coast of Denmark is still the same light that in the 1800-hundreds inspired artists like Drachmann, Krøyer and Ancher to create some of the greatest works in Danish history. This very special light of the North Sea and the atmosphere of Drachmann's time have inspired the design of the furniture that is named after the artist. The Drachmann range with the characteristic cross in the back and the simple, honest construction acts as today's icon for modern design based on the tradition and aesthetics of the past. Additional Information: -Constructed of solid Nyatoh hardwood with a white finish -Shipped knocked down, with easy assembly required -For indoor or outdoor use -Dimensions: 22"W x 22"L x 18"H About Skagerak Denmark and Nyatoh All of Skagerak Denmark's white painted furniture is made of solid Nyatoh hardwood, which is surface treated with a thick white paint. Moreover white painted furniture should be repainted/repaire d as required (depending on placing, winter keeping, etc.). White painted furniture should not be left outdoors in the winter time. It is recommended to keep the furniture for the winter in an unheated room such as a garage or a cellar. The Ocean Series' design is based on the slim elegance of modern sailing ships and traditional maritime merits such as functionality and flexibility. This design combines with an unconventional choice of materials - stainless steel and a unique, molded, and weather- resistant plastic - to give Ocean a striking, innovative expression. The furniture can be used outdoors and in and is ideal for contemporary home furnishing as well as traditional environments. Skagerak Denmark 1042020 Only few things will remain unchanged for centuries and outlive generation by generation. Additional Information: -Dimensions: 34"W x 75"D x 28"H -Shipped knocked down, with easy assembly required About Skagerak Denmark and Teak Teak grows in South-East Asia. Factors that have formed the basis for the maritime traditions of craftsmanship for centuries. Traditions that still live in the shipbuilding craft and inspire designers and craftsmen within other lines of business with the same demand for quality as that of the ship at sea. The Ocean Series' design is based on the slim elegance of modern sailing ships and traditional maritime merits such as functionality and flexibility. Wood is a living material, and it works and moves in line with changes in humidity and temperature. This may cause small cracks in the paint. Such cracks should be repaired immediately to avoid moisture penetrating in underneath the paint coat. Moreover white painted furniture should be repainted/repaire d as required (depending on placing, winter keeping, etc.). White painted furniture should not be left outdoors in the winter time. It is recommended to keep the furniture for the winter in an unheated room such as a garage or a cellar. At delivery the wood is dried according to outdoor average humidity, which should be considered if you want to keep the furniture indoors. Use Skagerak Denmark Wood Quick for cleaning and Skagerak Denmark white repair paint for repainting and repair.
