A creation of Desilu Studios I LOVE LUCY the western series THE LIFE AND LEGEND OF WYATT EARP ran on ABC from 1955 through 1961 and was loosely adapted from the real-life adventures of the titular frontier marshal Hugh O'Brian. Episodes ran 30 minutes and depicted Earp's exploits with such legendary cohorts as Doc Holliday Bat Masterson and The Clanton Gang. Toting his trademark weapon - a handgun known as a "Buntline Special" -- Earp set about enforcing the peace in a series of lawless towns that desperately needed him. This box set contains all 35 episodes from Season One with guest stars including Angie Dickinson John Carradine James Coburn and Louise Fletcher.
