Rousanne 35% Marsanne 65% Paul Jaboulet Aine owns five hectares of white Hermitage spread over different climates: Rocoule, Maison Blanche and La Croix, soils are composed of fluvial alluvium and clay. Cleaned after pressing, wine is then vinified and aged in new oak casks during four to six months. Clear, straw gold color with green hints. Rich and complex, its aromas of apricot, Viennese pastries and violets blend into a remarkably powerful, lightly oaked bouquet. Treana White is a blend of Viognier and Marsanne. These two varieties, indigenous to Rhone Valley in France, flourish in California's Central California white Rhone blends with release of 1996 Treana White. majority of fruit in this blend is from Santa Lucia Highlands, which benefits from cooling breezes coming off of Monterey Bay. 2008 Treana White's color is reminiscent of golden hillsides of California Central Coast at harvest time.
