It has an impenetrable and dense ruby color with spicy shades coming from a good, non intrusive wood accompanied by touches of small red mature fruits. The taste is thick and has a softness that bears the taste and ends with long shades of minerals. Perfect with rabbit and pork chops.

This fine wine is a Italian Still Wine 2010 vintage from Piedmont Dolcetto d'Alba produced by Elvio Cogno that is 750ml.

Dolcetto from the Ornati loaction, just south of the city of Monforte d'Alba. In the tradition of the Alba appellation for Dolcetto, also the Parusso version is emphasizing fruit, all stainless steel fermented and aged. Marco's approach differs from his neighbors in that he is not searching for the powerful element in the Dolcetto grapes, but he is aiming for a more elegant and aromatic style via a shorter extraction.
