The Dalton Winery was established in 1995 when the Haruni family from England settled in the green, mountainous country of Upper Galilee. The Kerem Ben Zimra and Safsufa Vineyards are located on a volcanic plateau where high altitude, optimum soil quality and a unique climate provide the ideal conditions for growing grapes in Israel. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Syrah and Shiraz, Canaan is an easy drinking, medium bodied red with sweet aromas of red and black berries. Flavors of cherry, plum, black pepper and vanilla are accented by soft tannins and a long, smooth finish. Product of Israel Alcohol by Volume: 13.5% Bottle Size: 750ml

This wine is from England. Stone’s Original Green Ginger Wine is well known for its distinctive flavour and traditional recipe. Many years of imaginative and colourful advertising have also made it a household name in not only Britain and latterly Australia, but also the Caribbean and many other countries worldwide. The Brand name itself dates from the mid-nineteenth century, when the wine was sold by Joseph Stone, a London grocer - one of the earliest examples of ’own label’ retailing. The green ginger wine, however, is much older, manufactured according to recipes handed down from generation to generation. Wine APERITIFS

Wine has been meticulously crafted in Connecticut ever since colonists discovered wild grapes growing on their land. At first glance, the New England climate appears inhospitable for this fastidious fruit, but a number of varieties thrive here, including pinot gris, chardonnay, cabernet franc, cayuga white and st. croix. These carefully cultivated grapes have produced wines of unique characteristics and surprising quality. Join local wine enthusiasts Eric D. Lehman and Amy Nawrocki as they explore the intricacies of the region s local blends, the vintners who craft them and the people who taste them. With vineyards and wineries in every corner of the state, you're likely to find one that suits your palate--right in your own backyard!
