Another amazing Drake Adventure
Pros
- uncharted on the go
- amazing story
- sets a standard for the vita
Cons
- not up to par graphically with its console brothers, but its on the go!
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This is an amazing game that really shows what the vita is capable of and will take you on an awesome journey
This game came out with promises of an adventure that will rival its console counter parts, that it will take you on a wild ride, and that it will bring the same feel of the cinematic awesome from the other games. well the verdict is in and it keeps all of it promises and more.
Graphics-9/10
The game looks amazing taking every chance it can to push the vitas hardware. I noticed the lighting and shadows in the game more than anything else mostly because i hadnt seen it before in a handheld. The enviroment is rich and crisp but for me suffers a little bit because i have played the other console versions of the game and i know how a amazing it can look >.<.
Story- 10/10
Uncharted is one of those rare games (nowadays) that puts all its chips on the table with the story and then flushes everything else out. the story is another great install to the series and helps us get to know Drake before the first Uncharted. The story is a wild ride with an ex-General and his merry band of mercs. hunting while trying to solve a puzzle that is 100s of years old.
Gameplay-7/10
The gameplay isnt really why i pick up these games because like i said before its story first. The gameplay isnt bad but it isnt amazing either, mostly it is running, jumping to and from cliffs, climbing ropes, and gun fights(which could use just a little more fine turning for my taste).
Vita Features- 8/10
Some will like it others will just turn it off, the game was developed using most of the vitas features. while climbing rope you can rub your hands on the back touch panel to climb it, when in a gun fight you can more the vita around to aim you guns ( i believe it uses the camera), when walking across a log you can lose you balance and have to rock your vita side to side to regain it (hate this one). there are also charcoal rubing, puzzles to put together, and other little events like cutting a path or lifting someone up that uses the front touch screen.
