This is the ORIGINAL fragrance that was introduced by Revlon, USA in 1975. The fragrance is still in production, but it has been reformulated over the years. Revlon produced the original formulation through the mid 1980s. The original Revlon bottle from the 1970s and mid 1980s has a blue top and blue box. After Revlon, the fragrance was produced by a number of companies with different formulations and packaging. There is a classic version by Jean Philippe that is commonly seen, but this is not the original! We are offering a Revlon bottle with the original formulation and the blue top. The magazine ad shows Tom Selleck advertising Chaz in 1980. Chaz is a woody fragrance, but not like the wood notes of today. Instead, it's a lot softer.
