The EM controller has two sensor ports that can support any of the OpenComms sensors plus a one-foot long temperature sensor. These ports will auto-discover which sensor is connected. Liebert OpenComms EM Controller takes up zero U rack space and can support any combination of two sensors. The supported sensors are temperature, humidity, and temperature and humidity combination and contact closure.

Measure indoor temperatures via the RS485 network connections of Stargate and Commstar controllers using the same serial commands as RS485 thermostats. Temperature ranges from -20° F to +127° F with offset capability of +/- 10 degrees. Temp modes can either be Celsius or Fahrenheit. Network address can be set from 1 to 254.
