Pros Reliable Performance, Good Range, Good Value
Cons Difficult Setup, Lack of Features

This wireless router has been one of the most reliable routers I ever had. Not only can it go for weeks at a time without a restart, but has lasted many years of hard use without any failure.
The range is decent, and the speed as well.
Well built and made to last.
Only bad thing is... Read full review »

I have been so satisfied with this brand of router. They work and work and work. I replaced an old one I had used for years with one exactly like it, thinking that my connection problems were due to the router. They weren't, it was the modem instead. I now use both of them and the old one shows no... Read full review »

I purchased the WRT54G router a few years ago and have been using it as my primary wireless until recently when I upgraded to a 802.11n router.

I have had a lot of experience with Linksys products before and while comparable to Netgear or D-Link, the products still tend to be... Read full review »

I bought this router from Amazon. It stopped working within a month. Then I contacted Linksys and had to pay ($10) for the help to get it installed remotely as I couldn't get it working whatever I do.

Cons Same quality as most brands and flashing with 3rd party firmware voids warranty.

I have lots of cheap routers and cards. With wireless stuff it always seem like a roll of a dice. You see people ranting about every brand including Linksys, which is often claimed to be one of the best networking brands.

I ordered one of these a few weeks ago mainly due to the hype about... Read full review »

I got it cause it was on sale at best buy. Better to spend a bit more on one that works and doesn't cause your network to crash once a week. And I'm not the only one that I know personally who hates this router. Can't connect my PS3 to it, randomly stops communicating with my laptop, and software... Read full review »

I was warned not to waste my time and money on a Linksys router - unfortunately, I didn't listen. The software provided no still lists the router as a WRT54G, but insists that it only works with Linksys networking equipment and cannot provide any information or help with this router. It therefore... Read full review »

Cons Really costly compared to the Netgear one

This is good router.... Stable also but I really found Netgear WGR614L better compared to this one. This is also a open source router supporting Tomato, DD-WRT etc.
The forum is also good. They have already announced tomato release for this router and all these you can get for much less... Read full review »

I've had a home network for a while. Wired and wireless. In 2004, my wireless-B router gave up the ghost. Power cycling wouldn't fix it, and besides, that was an excuse to upgrade to wireless-G.
