6-inch insulation-ready recessed lighting kit with black, fully enclosed baffle interior, rated for wet locations. This recessed lighting kit features an air-tight installation that stops the infiltration and exfiltration of air, which reduces heating and cooling costs. The patented breakaway bars allow tight joist spacing and the bar hangers may be re-positioned 90 degrees. The housing measures 7-1/8 inches in height and 13-1/2-inches in width (reduces to 8-1/2 with breakaway feature) and can be completely covered with insulation.
