Nice PDA
This is second generation of popular Palm Tungsten - still based on Palm OS and Graffiti. It's very thin and sleek, and it has all the functionality that you require from business tool. Reminders, contacts, note taking softwer - evertyhing is there, and all third party applications still... Read full review »
this a Genius in time of difficulties
I purchased a Tungsten E2 because I just started back to grad school and I suddenly need somewhere to put a dozen manuals, and get a whole lot more organized. While I would say I was satisfied with the Tungsten, you will love this product. Read full review »

Useless
I heard so many good things about Palm, and my wife bought a Treo phone, (which she pretty much just uses as a phone), so I thought that, instead of sending my worn out Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC for surgery and refurbishment, I'd buy a shiny new Palm. I'll cut to the chase- My Pocket PC ran rings... Read full review »
Tungsten E2 Beware
My one-year old Tungsten e2 was not charging anymore on my palm cradle. I found that one of the contacts from the cradle was pushed into the base. It did the same thing to the cradle cable when I plugged it directly into the PDA. I called Palm and they were just to happy to repair the problem for... Read full review »
Good all-around tool with a few problems
The Tungsten E2 is great for: Reading ebooks, keeping checklists, scheduling tasks and appointments, jotting down quick notes, playing games
The Tungsten E2 is acceptable for: Watching videos, listening to music (with headphones), typing documents (with an IR or Bluetooth keyboard), viewing...

Palm Tungsten E2 review
Palm is no longer the leader in easy to use PDAs.
I love my Tungsten E. Its simple. It does what I want it to do - keep me organized. I bought it after I returned the "paper weight" called the T5
So I bought the E2 thinking it can only get better. Well, no. Its seems that they...

Tungsten E2 - Crashed when encrypted
I bought this little jewel about a year ago, and it served me well, but had a tendency to crash when I utilized the security feature of encrypting my information- in other words, I opted to LOCK the device at "power off", which requires one to enter password to unlock, little did I know that... WOW I Can do What With This PDA??
I purchased a Palm Tungsten, E2 Bluetooth PDA a few months ago from ebay. This item was in the last hour of auction and the bidding was climbing fast. Before I knew it this little gem had went from $100.00 to over $200.00.
Naturally I didn't want to be outdone. I kept hitting the bid...

Had problems with two of these...they are bad news and so is Palm's warranty
I've never been more disappointed. I bought a new Palm Tungsten E2 for $199 plus tax. Within 2 months, it quit and would not turn on. Only a hard reset would fix it.
I turned it over to the store where I bought it and they replaced it with a new E2. Guess what, after 3 months, it did the...

Tungsten E2 search does not work correctly
I bought the E2 after owning three previous Palms. As others have said, these were my replacement brain. I love the E2's display and the speed (vs my previous one, a IIIxe). BUT... I need to be able to search and the search function simply does not work.
If you click the magnifying glass...

Got to have it
I own a Tungsten E2, I got mine at a Pawn Shop and I think it was one of the best investment that I have made in a long time. I am a gadget Tungsten E2 has all the chance to become the main gadget in my pocket. I use my E2 more than my cell phone. I can't think of any thing that I hate about my E2... Read full review »
I want my old 3C back
I'm somewhat grateful to the sales at Best Buy clerk who strongly suggested the extended warranty. In fairness, Best has been very tolerant of me, every time I return, grumbling about the latest problem with my Tungsten. I shouldn't blame them for my problems with this thing, but if they know it is... Read full review »
Got it For Free! :)
I enjoy having a palm to carry around to keep track of all of my phone numbers and what not. Course, that could be from my phone not even working at the moment, but in any case it's definitely useful.
I find the priced value of it to be a considerably good price for what it handles and...

Tungsten E2 is an upgrade from antiquated PDAs
I have owned many many pocket devices over the years, some were better than others, this one falls somewhere in between. The NEC Mobilepro, with it's large keyboard that was lovely to type on, entering information was a breeze. It's not all that great for taking notes in class except to remember an... Gonna give it a second chance
I am no computer wiz, nor am I some business mogul that needs to be in ten places at one time. So PDA was not a necessity in my life, although I have found over the last few years that it does come in handy and has lots of bonuses. My first PDA was a SONY Clie (about six years ago). Somewhere along... Read full review »
Severe conception default (recalibration issue), otherwise a good device
This review is mainly intended to discuss about the recalibration issue with the Tungsten E2. The screen went off calibration and impossible to recalibrate with the pen, there fore it was impossible to use the screen in any way. If you are not a home mechanic, this will make the device useless... Read full review »
Palm Organizers - Tungsten E2
I have owned a few Palm Pilots and this one is pretty good. The one issue I have had with all the palms - dropping the palm will almost certainly break the palm and need to be sent for repairs. Most likely the Palm will be out of warranty since it only lasts for some ridiculously short amount of... Read full review »
Never goes more than 10 feet away
So I was up a few dollars in my pocket, and was wondering. What could I buy that would improve the way I live? I looked around. New portable Media Player? Some good applications for my PC? An upgrade to my system?
Well, I thought about all of those choices for a few weeks. Then one night...
