The CT-DH-1 is designed to turn On exhaust and/or intake fans to remove excess or unwanted heat and humidity. Set your desired temperature and humidity using the dials. Internal sensors will allow a 7F temperature comfort zone (3F with an external coil or remote bulb) and a 5% humidity span (differential) between the time the fans activate for cooling or dehumidifying and then turn Off again. The CDDS-2 activates or deactivates your CO2 enrichment or CO2 venting (exhaust) equipment as necessary to maintain CO2 PPM based on your set point. For best results, turn off all exhaust functions and close all doors and windows during the initial 24-hour adjustment period. The IR-2 provides the switching function to isolate two separate equipment controllers. The relay lets you function a single device with two independent controls and eliminates the possibility of power feedback. Plug the IR-2 control pigtails into each of the controllers you want to use to regulate your equipment. The center power pigtail operates the left outlet which is defeated when the control outlet is activated. Plug it into a timer or other control device or directly into wall receptacle.

Most people are slightly vague on the functions provided by this relay and the important role it plays in the co-ordination of the total environment control system. Our Atmospheric Controllers function heaters, fans, coolers etc.. Timers control light cycles, irrigation and CO2 equipment. A switching control is needed to turn some functions Off while others operate and to disable some while others remain in service. Generally we want atmospheric control all 24 hours but we want CO2 enrichment during photo-periods only. The IR-1 will do this.
