Pros Price, zoom len (equivalent 25mm to 450mm is fantastic), ease of use.
Cons Limited manual controls, no GPS, Mediocre Image Stabilization.

Pros I'd say the only pro was the great sale price I got it for!
Cons  Inability for the camera to focus and take pictures that arn't blurred!
Recommended it? No

Pros small, lightweight, sleek. Records very well. 
Cons Freezes up occasionally after about a year, or left in a bag to long
