What are trollbeads? The name of the trollbeads' company is Lise Aagaard Copenhagen and is based in one of the oldest parts of Copenhagen called Toldbodgade. The trollbeads story begins back in the 1930s with Lise Aagaard's father, Svend Nielsen, then a goldsmith apprentice who was set the task of making charms. His enthusiasm and love for his trade was imparted to Lise's brother Soren.
