This Mercer M21810 10-piece forged knife case set from the Genesis line contains one of each of the following: 6 carving fork, 10 sharpening steel, 10 carving knife, 8 chef's knife, 7 santoku knife (granton edge), 8 bread knife, 6 boning knife, 5 utility knife, 3 1/2 paring knife, 10-pocket nylon roll. The forged Santoprene that comprises the handles of the Genesis tools is a high performance, soft material that offers a safe and comfortable non-slip grip for all day use. It will not break down when exposed to kitchen oils, and is able to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures. Additionally, these knives' high carbon, traditional German no-stain steel blades feature hand-polished edges that are taper ground for superior stability, easy-honing, and long-lasting sharpness. They won't rust, corrode, or discolor. A thick bolster strengthens the knife, adds durability, and provides optimal balance for a sturdy grip. The heavy duty, nylon construction of the storage roll is lightweight, yet resistant to abrasions, tears and scuffs.
