This new mold is for Martin's size 00 12 fret body.This will work with the kits offered at Blues Creek guitars. This is the standard for all 12 fret size based on the 00 12 fret Martin Design. With Martin and other kits having the radius of the top and back built into the kit , the molds will accommodate this without distorting the body and causing problems during the build like a flat mold will. The 14-fret Martin 000-18 model is a traditional 000 with a shorter 24.9 scale and appointments that match Martin's D-18 dreadnought.
