Worth the Money! Is it Magic?
I have to say I have few complaints so far with this "magic machine."
Yes indeed, I would highly recommend it and feel confident in making long hauls without a map!
At this price, I thing free updates would be nice too.

Excellent
I have used Hertz for over 10 years and loved their NeverLost system. However, could never afford it until now! What a great system, my only recommendation is... buy it at Costco or on their on-line site. They have the best price and by far the best return policy. Read full review »
Magellan 700
I just bought the Magellan 700 a few days ago. It is a nice unit but I am having some strange problems with it. nightmare repair
We sent in our Roadmate 700 in Sept 2007. They had a software glitch where they could not match owners with units and promised a replacement. We have since been lied to on a weekly basis that the replacement is in the mail. Of course, we had to deal with "John" from India, and have been on hold for... Read full review »
Gets lost and has terrible customer service
From the beginning, it got lost in San Francisco. Then, when I would take it on a plane to LA, it took 20 minutes to "find itself." If I turn it off, for a while, it can take 10 minutes or more to "find itself."

Great product for those who hate to ask for directions
I rented a car from Hertz and ended up with another version of the Magellan in it and was amazed that I found new routes in old territory. I don't get lost now, or if I do the Magellan typically finds me a way back without to much delay. It is amazing! Read full review »

EXCELLENT MUST HAVE
I have tried Ipaq, and Cobra GPS Navigation in the MA area and found that the Roadmate 700 was best of the three. Excellent interface, smooth and reliable. Fast connection, small and have over 2 Million POI. Map is preloaded and accurate. I highly recommend.
