They feature hand selected rawhide heads. These bongos have standard 7-1/4 and 8-5/8 diameter heads, and have a more pronounced shell contour than other bongos to create crisp, distinct high tones. They also have a specially designed steel backing plate which helps to prevent cracks from occurring in the shell. These LP Generation II Bongos come with LP Comfort Curve II Rims.
