Good product
We have always been a fan of LeapFrog and our kids have gotten a lot of use out of the orignal Leapster Explorer product (we have two). The games are hit and miss, like most video games, but all in all pretty decent. There are some educational games, too.

Left hand issues
I have 3 left handed children. My youngest(age 4) is who we bought the leappad for. She has a great deal of difficulty with some of the apps.
