This complete set of 3 per side Kluson Double Ring, Single Row tuning machines was used on vintage Gibson models such as the Les Paul, SG, 335 and others. Also used on the vintage Epiphone Casino. Some current Epiphone production of Les Paul, Casino and SG 400 models uses a copy of this tuner that this will retrofit using the included bushings. This set has oval metal buttons and the Kluson designed safety string posts just like the originals but with the improved 15:1 gear ratio for more accurate and stable tuning. If you are retrofitting a vintage instrument that has been modified or are putting a vintage-style tuning machine onto a modern instrument, you may need these adapter bushings to convert a larger size peg hole to a vintage size to allow for proper fit and function.
