All rings are made from 14 gauge (AWG) wire (0.062 inch diameter = 1.57 millimeter) and have been polished to a near mirror finish. The aluminum alloy used has the least amount of rub off in aluminum rings. These rings can be used in jewelry, or any chainmail application. ~10% extra rings are added to make sure you receive more rings than you ordered (~550 Rings total). Rings have a kerf of about 0.008 inches (0.2 mm).

This is the one item I use on 99.9% of my jewelry pieces. They are almost as thick as a little jump ring can be - .036 inches, or 19 gauge! This means that they require some force to close or open - you will have to use chainnose micro pliers, because your fingernails will break.
