Complete Crap
Didn't work out of the box. I spent hours trying to diagnose on the support site. Got it to run and it stopped 10 times in a 10x12 kitchen. 6 hour later I have no clean floor. I see why people love it lol Read full review »
Scooba is unreliable
Although I love the technology, I am deeply disappointed about my Sccoba, which I bought about three months ago. expensive and won't last but good when it does last
Scooba 5900 just died, just short of 2 years old - $365 purchase. The Discovery Robot we bought lasted two years and had to be replaced as well. So you spend a lot of money for the machine to last about 2 years. If you're hiring maid, that will be more. Otherwise, it's an expensive indulgence...

This is my second iRobot purchase. They ran a great deal over the holidays: buy the Scooba, get a base-level Roomba for free. I kept the Scooba, and gave the Roomba as a gift as I already have one. Scooba is now a member of the family!
I have a 3-year old and a 6-month old, hence, perpetually DIRTY floors, even though I have a "take off your shoes" policy when entering the house. Doesn't matter, kids leave shrapnel everywhere from things they eat.

Didn't work at all -
I pride myself on keeping my house clean and spend most of my time on my floors because we have two dogs which stay in a certain area near the kitchen for the most part.
