Still going strong after all these years, Apple's iBook starts a 2nd career.
NOTE: This review is for a used laptop purchased from eBay in July of 2006. The manufacturer date on the laptop is August 2003 making this system 3 years old. Please read on if you're interested in a budget priced laptop with plenty of life and functionality still ahead.

Fast, user friendly, and intuitive...what more could you ask for?

A splendid little Mac notebook
Being a 20-year user of Apple Macintoshes, you would expect that I would like the the 1 Ghz 12-inch G4 iBook, and I do. The colorful clamshell designs of the earlier G3 iBooks were a bit garish, but the all-white iBook is a very clean, elegant design.

Great machine except for the plastic case.
First, I will say that I love Mac and the Mac OS. I have used them since 1988, and for ten years I had my own Macintosh shareware business.

Awesome for students.
It's a great laptop. The operating system is extremely stable, runs fast, and is simply great. The machine itself is very confortable to carry around at school and to use, due to its small size.
