Continuing the momentum of his unpredictable changes in electronic styles and pseudonyms, Si Begg further challenges himself with S.I. Futures. The Mission Statement is a carefully constructed mix of disco, hip-hop, ambient, and funky breaks, all held together by Begg's uniform production. Drawing from such a diverse spectrum could make this kind of record confusing, but Begg has the experience to make it work. Such varying moments include the Aspects dropping in to rap on All Terrain Aspects and a sampled dance lesson spliced with disco rhythms on Freestyle Disco.
