A Car That Leaves Mixed Feelings: Hyundai Accent.

Pros Easy to park and handle on a flat road, looks better than its predecessors.
Cons With 30-35 mpg you won't save gas while poor uphill acceleration may endanger you.
Recommended it? No

Hyundai Accent 2007 is yet another pan-European car model on American market. The assumption is that Americans will choose small car for the sake of space and fuel economy. Well, this is just not the case! At least not for that guy on F-350 who shows no turn signs and almost drives over you. He's... Read full review »

Pros Attractive styling, many standard upgrades, good on gas.
Cons Questionable factory installed audio system, a bit rough on bumpy roads.
Recommended it? Yes

Having just completed a 5 year lease on a 2003 4-door GL model, and being VERY satisfied with it overall, I saw no reason to look further for a different vehicle that stayed within my price range, so I opted to lease a 2007 Accent GLS -- fully loaded. (Well, as loaded as an Accent can be!)

Introducing 7 new vehicles in 24 months has kept Hyundai on the minds of many a car journalist. Their reputation of manufacturing well-built cars packed full of value continues to strengthen with each new entrant.

Already the proud and happy owners of a 2006 Sonata GLS Premium (that's... Read full review »

Well, after reading previous reviews, I must admit I felt a bit defensive about what was actually being reported about my little Hyundai, but in reality a lot of it is really true. I am now the proud owner of my second Hyundai Accent and the only reason I parted with my first one (which I had for... Read full review »

I did a lot of test driving before settling on a new 2007 in August. I drove the new Toyota Corrolla, Honda Civic, Mazda3, and the Saturn Ion, none of which impressed me.

The Corrolla was noisy and looked cheap per its interior. The sound system was also very tinny, which I remember from... Read full review »

About a month ago I was unfortunately involved in a car accident. My Year old 2006 Toyota Matrix was no longer road worthy, and required repair. In the mean time I had a rental car courtesy of Enterprise Rent a car and the Manitoba Public Insurance Company. My insurance coverage allowed me an... Read full review »

I would have never thought that I would own a Hyundai! I have owned several VWs, a a BMW, a Protege, a Camry... well a lot of cars but never a Hyundai. That changed about 6 weeks ago because my car broke down and I was about to go on a month long road trip. I went to the dealer and was unimpressed... Read full review »

Pros Warranty, interior room/comfort, build quality
Cons Needs sixth speed and hatch wiper/washer.

Have 3-door Hatchback. 5-speed manual. Good value for price. Bought mainly for warranty. Lots of interior room. (I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds.) From driver's seat it doesn't feel like a small car. Fifth gear is usable at any speed above 30-MPH. No problem staying with traffic or merging/passing. Initial... Read full review »

Cons The mileage of the car is not that great.

Hi, I have had a hyundai accent in India. The car is good to drive and great handling. Its a comfortable car that does not require much of maintenance. This was the only car in its segment to have a good build at the cost that it was offered that made me buy this car. A overall good package to buy. Read full review »
