Dennis with Cedar Woods Designs is building Blue Bird Houses in hopes of regaining his woodworking skills after suffering a stroke in April 2012. The birdhouses are made of Western Red Cedar purchased here at Capitol City Lumber. Dennis is a carpenter by trade in the Raleigh area. He realized that some projects were more than he can handle at this time, but he wanted to use his hands to create something beautiful that others can enjoy.
