The adjustable Fireplace Screen Rod & Valance kit is used for installing replacement screens for any fireplace up to 48 Wide. The rods and valance extend from 31 wide to 48 wide with a profile of 2. They install with masonry fasteners (included). Unlike regular hearth screens these don't stick out in front of the fireplace. Simply measure the height of your fireplace opening from the lintel (metal angle iron at the top of the opening) to the fireplace floor.
