How To Buy Remanufactured Compatible Ink and Toner Cartridges

With so many options when it comes to printer cartridges, it can all get very confusing. Here are a couple of guidelines on how to make an informed decision on what or who to buy from.

1. Check the Warranty & Return Policy. Look for a minimum of 1-year and a satisfaction guarantee is always a positive sign that a company stands behind their products.
2. Descriptive Text on the product page. If they aren't telling you about their remanufacturing process the chances are there isn't much to tell. The more descriptive they are about the materials and process, the better.
3. Price Is Not King! Not all remanufactured products are the same! Cheap knock-offs sacrifice quality in order to offer a low price. A cartridge that had a hole drilled and then refilled is not the same as a cartridge that has been properly cleaned and had replacement parts installed. Even though it may be cheaper, it does not mean it is a better product.
