Nothing Is Too Good for My Bundle of Puppy Love
For a long time, we were cat parents. After our cats passed on, we waited quite a while to get another pet. When I got our little dog at the Humane Society, I felt prepared as I'd read many outstanding reviews of products for dogs on Epinions.com.
Our little dog is like a child in our hearts, so we do everything we can to keep her safe and healthy. I read every single food label, research toys - the whole bit.
Here's a sampling of some of the best products I've found for our little one.

Products Loved By Both Me And My Dog
Ty Beanie Babies Bow Wow Toys
As most people with dogs know, it can be a challenge to find toys that your dog likes and will hold up to rough play. I luckily bought a Ty Beanie Babies Bow Wow toy for my dog. She loves it so much that I bought her several more.
The Ty Beanie Babies Bow Wow Toys come in several "styles." We have the skunk, chihuahua, duck, fox, and several more. All of these toys make a crinkling noise and also contain a squeaker. I think the combination of both is what my dog really likes. She gets the hear the crinkle until she locates the squeaker and goes wild.
We've had all of these Ty Beanie toys for a couple of years and I've not had to make any repairs at all. There are no rips or tears and the squeakers still work. To keep them clean, I either hand wash or throw them in the washing machine, then let them air dry.

These treats for teeth health are affectionately known as "doggie crack" by many dog parents. Though they stink to most humans, dogs go crazy for these things!
Greenies are, of course, green and are formed in the shape of a toothbrush on one end and a bone on the other. The idea behind Greenies is that through the chewy action, the Greenie helps clean off tartar build-up from your dog's teeth.
My dog goes nuts when I get out the box of Greenies as they're just about her favorite thing in the world. It only takes her a few minutes to eat one, but I will say I think it makes a difference in her teeth. When we got her, her teeth were gleaming white. Luckily, they still are, even though we've not had her teeth professionally cleaned at the vet's office.
Greenies come in several sizes based on the weight of your dog. Be sure to choose the appropriate size to minimize the chance of choking.

The Busy Buddy Squirrel Dude
The Busy Buddy Squirrel Dude is a great toy to keep your dog occupied.
Made of tough rubber, there is a hole in the bottom of the toy where you put treats. The object of the game is for your dog to figure out how to get the treats out of the toy. The dispensing mechanism is genius. There are four rubber prongs covering the hole. Leave them as they are, or trim them to make it slightly easier to get treats out.
My puppy absolutely loves this toy. After experimenting with it, I did have to trim the prongs a bit or the treats I was using wouldn't come out at all. She chews on this toy like crazy. While it does show teeth marks on it, there are no missing chunks. It's hilarious to watch her pick this up in her mouth and toss it in the air, trying to get the treats to come out.
The amount of time she plays with this toy directly correlates with how many treats I insert. She won't stop playing with it until all the treats are out! Dogs need something to do besides just lay around and this toy is wonderful when I don't have time to play with her.
To clean this toy, I just put it on the top rack of the dishwasher after she's done with all the treats.

Nutro Natural Choice Crunchy Treats with Real Berries
I don't want to feed my dog junk, but I do want to be able to give her treats. These Nutro Natural Choice Crunchy Treats smell like blueberries - tempting me to try one, though I haven't.
These are made in the USA (of tantamount importance to me) and contain wholesome ingredients (also very important). The treats are small enough that I don't have to break them for my small dog. They are about 3/4" around and are in the shape of a rounded triangle. They help to keep my dog's teeth clean as well as serve as a treat for her.
For those interested, these treats do not contain any wheat or wheat gluten, corn or corn gluten. They're full of vitamins supplements to keep baby girl happy and healthy. I've been buying these for about two years and will continue to do so.
Note: these come in two other flavors, but I've only ever tried the blueberry flavor as I've heard it's the most popular.
