I will admit my purchase of these Nike Cortez shoes was mostly due to nostalgia--I had a pair in high school exactly like these--but, I also love the way they fit and look. They are slightly narrow, but that fits my foot just fine. These come in many colors, as well as different materials. An all-around great-looking, comfortable shoe.

Funky though they may look, these clogs are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. Made with materials much like Crocs, these shoes have a wonderful platform sole, which is great for me as I'm "vertically-challenged." I can wear these for a long day on my feet and they don't rub or make my feet feel tired. These Dr. Scholl's clogs are so wonderful, I bought them in two colors!

These are my everyday tennis shoes. The platform sole makes it feel as if I'm walking on a cloud, and the style is as cute as can be. The sole is about 1" in front and about 1.5" in back. If you're shopping for Volatile Expulsion shoes, you'll find leather, suede, leopard print and other types of fun designs. When buying, be aware they are not true-to-size. You need to buy one-half to one size larger to get a good fit.

Traditional flip-flops can irritate between my toes, but I found the solution in these Nike Benassi Slides. Made of rubber, the band that goes over the top of the foot is padded, which helps make them comfortable. My favorite part about these slides is that the inner sole, right under the foot, has many slightly raised nubs--about the size of a pencil eraser--that massage my feet as I walk. I worried the raised areas may prove irritating, but they're not at all. Even after I take off these slides, my feet feel invigorated.

These are my favorite workout shoes. Whether I'm on the elliptical at the gym, or taking an aerobics class, these shoes keep my feet comfortable and protected. The sole is padded well and the back of the shoes comes up far enough on my heels to stabilize my achilles tendons.
