Rocket Launch!!!
ALKA SELTZER ROCKET!
You Will Need:
1 35mm film canister with lid
1 Alka Seltzer tablet
Water
1.Go outside
2.Remove the lid from the canister
3.Fill the film canister about half-way with water.
4.Stick the Alka Seltzer tablet in the canister and quickly put the lid on tight.
5.Turn the canister upside down, so the lid on the ground.
6.Step away and in about ten seconds watch your rocket BLAST OFF!!!
This activity is a lot of fun to do with younger kids. The "rockets" will fly about ten feet and all of the supplies you should be able to find around the house. The kids are going to want to do this again and again!
