How to Buy an iPhone 3G
This page is created to those who are hesitant in picking the iPhone 3G. Come on, it won't bite.
I bought my iPhone in an Apple Store inside a mall in Queon City, Philippines last January. It was an iPhone 3G S. But the day before i went to the store, i made a list of what i want my new iPhone should be. I bought an iPhone 2g November last year and there are some weaknesses it posses that i don't want to be in the iPhone 3G. Here is the list.
1. Longer battery life - I was impressed by the iPhone 2g's battery life that can get along with you for a couple of days even if you listen to music often or make a phone call for hours. But I wanted my iPhone 3g to have longer life so ican surf the net for days without to much toll on its battery.
2. More data capacity - I heard that the iPhone 3g has the highest 80gb of internal memory to store with your datas. (I haven't checked yet if that is true) But come to think of it, EIGHTY GIGABYTES!!! What more can you ask for!!!
3. Better signal strength - As it's already running in 3G, i don't think i can have problems with signal even if i go camping in the middle of the woods.
4. Durability - Honestly, I dropped my iPhone a lot. And obvious scratches are already visible in the unit. I want the iPhone 3g to be more Resistant to scratches and it will retain its beauty for a long time.
5. More Applications Supported - I chose the iPhone over the iTouch cause i heard that it can support the applications the iTouch can handle. But it can't. I hope the 3G saet can this time.
6. Better Display, Better camera, Better sound quality - I can't say anything bad regarding this about the iPhone, but maybe apple can give us a fix of improvements with these to please us more.
