The Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X Hands Free Shredder is an innovative, automatic shredder that simplifies shredding and helps you maintain peak productivity. Stack up to 100 sheets of letter size paper in the shredder tray and close the lid. The 100X does the rest, shredding all 100 sheets in approximately ten minutes. You now have the time you would have spent feeding papers in the shredder free, and you can spend it doing more important and fun activities. The powerful Stack-and-Shred 100X is a cross-cut shredder which provides moderate, level 3 security by shredding paper in two directions. Even documents with staples or paper clips can be stacked and shredded through the cutters into ¼’ x 2” particles that are virtually impossible to piece back together. The 100X can also shred non-standard size or thick, glossy paper through the manual feed slot. Manual operation allows you to shred credit cards and as many as up to 6 sheets of paper at a time. Auto+ jam free technology is also included on the 100X. If papers get stuck, the shredder automatically reverses and re-feeds to clear the jam and continue shredding. The spacious 7-gallon waste bin catches all your shreds and features a view window so that you can visibly see when the shredder is starting to fill up. A bin full LED indicator light also turns on when the bin has reached capacity. Line the bin with either plastic or paper recyclable waste bags to make shred disposal easy and neat. At a quiet 60dB noise level, the Stack-and-Shred 100X is not disruptive and great for use by 1-2 people at home or in the office. Self Clean feature extends the life of the cutters by automatically removing small paper shreds that get stuck and create build-up. This prevents the shredder from jamming over time due to frequent use. Very little manual work is required to operate and maintain the 100X hands free shredder. An auto shut-off feature powers down the shredder after a period of inactivity to save energy. Just stack, shut and you’re done. A 2-year warranty on both the machine and cutters is included.
