Euro-Pro NV350 Bagless Upright Vacuum

Wow, I'm blown away by this vacuum.  I've had it for about 3 weeks now. Waiting for the other shoe to drop, but hasn't yet.

For starters, I have 3 dogs and 4 cats(wife's a vet tech). Vacuums in my house usually last about 2 years and quit. This came with a 2 year warranty which Costco is doubling, as usual. We kill vacuums here.

This thing is powerful. There's a suction release, easy to get to and understand, built in for lower quality carpets. Need to use that on the bedroom carpet. 

It also has a swivel turning mechanism built in that actually works well. So manueverable. All aspects of this product seem well thought out and engineered.

Comes with enough hose and attatchments to reach 20 feet plus. Attatchments actually work well. I use the fabric attatchment with suction driven brush on my sheperd. He loves it. It's like a massage. Keeps shedding down to a minimum.

All the moving parts seem very well engineered. The canister dump opens quickly and snaps closed with a well defined click. Canister contents dump with ease, no fuss, no muss. Same with the top dump, which you have to empty once in a while. Snaps back into the body with that same nice click. Three filters underneath canister need cleaning every couple weeks. Very simple, just wash in warm water and let dry overnight. Reinstallation is simple too. Motor air output filter should be done at the some time.

Bottom brush unit is about the same width as the Oreck, another good vacuum. I thought it was a little skinny but run through the chore quickly. Bought Hoover wind tunnel to replace Oreck. That quit after two years. Replace Oreck because of bagging and yearly maintenance. Still like the Oreck overall though. But I think I might like this better, especially considering the price points of both products.

I really love this vacuum! My wife loves it too. She has no trouble with working it or emptying canister.

My one con is it's a little loud. Just a little. But, it's a vacuum cleaner, so I'm not even sure it's a con. Still gonna give it 5 stars.
