CapCom Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for Xbox 360

I was  expecting more for Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. An Online multiplayer game is always something to look forward too, but if the game has so much problems and bugs why purchase it?


The Online Multiplayer game play includes:
Team Attack
      Objective-Fight for the most amount of kills
Biohazard
      Objective-Escort samples of the G-Virus to the base
Survivors
      Objective-Survive until the helicopter arrives
Hero's
      Objective-Fight and defend your iconic characters to win

DLC (downloadable content) is available for players who want to expand their game play.

Wolfpack Characters(These Characters are played through campaign, you level up their abilities)
-Bertha (Medic)
-Four Eyes (Field Scientist)
-Vector (Recon)
-Lupo (Assault)
-Beltway (Demolition)
-Spectre (Sniper)

More Characters can be selected such as a selection from spec ops"Echo Six" and classic characters from past games.

Campaign Mode Single Player and Online:
Campaign takes place in Raccoon city.Being able to play with people online in campaign helps you level up and get enough experience points to buy new abilities for your favorite character. Being able to play with other players is helpful because you can communicate with each other. Playing the campaign once single player was fun and a fast experience. After that the replay rates went down and I have to play with other players to make it more fun.

The campaign seemed to drag on. Every Mission felt the same, unless a boss came up. Also the bosses seemed to easy even on harder modes.


When you level up your character you earn XP which lets you use them towards a large selection of weapons and abilities. Some types of weapons you can choose from are shotguns,heavy machine guns, rifles and etc.

Different abilities can be purchased from different characters. Such as shooting enemies with fire bullets, be immune to pain for a certain amount of time and turning invisible. (Under a second time frame) MANY more abilities can be purchased.

Glitches and Bugs:
-Zombies getting trapped in objects and not dying
-Disappearing textures
-Unlimited weapons drop- clone your weapons as you drop them
-Characters Running in place
-Glitched hunters getting trapped when jumping towards your character and -getting stuck in places they aren't suppose to access
-Your character hovers
-Doorways don't open, or let you continue in the game
-Their is a double you in online mulitiplayer and you control both

Problems:
Some places are to dark to even navigate around in. You get "lost" to the point where you cant get out. On campaign if you play with other players you may be lucky enough they can help you find your way out. Maybe it would helps if Capcom provided the players with a flashlight.

I often shoot my way through the darkness just to see where I'm going. Which is a waste of ammo.

Campaign is a short experience, leaving yourself to play it over and over again to earn XP.

A decent game, nothing amazing. Play it once and your more apped to not want to play it much longer.

Graphics:
The graphics are decent nothing amazing, but good. This is a 3rd person view game. Where you see your full character rather then a first person view which is up close, making the game see more realistic. The 3rd person view lets you see easier whats coming up behind you. I'd would have liked Capcom to make it your choice of view. First, second or First person view. I like changing things up in those types of games.

Resident Evil Raccoon City was released on March 20,2012. You can purchase this game for XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3. Pre-owned from GAMESTOP is $54.99and New is $59.99 plus taxes. Available for PC as well.
