The FASTA-2ex provides 2 eSATA ports with the latest SATA 6G technology, allowing for speeds of up to 6Gbps. The new FASTA-2ex is completely backwards compatible with legacy SATA devices. It also supports port multiplier enclosures and other devices like external optical drives. The FASTA-2ex is also the perfect addition to the CalDigit VR and or CalDigit VR mini. The FASTA-2ex will work with any laptop that has an ExpressCard 34 slot, such as the Apple MacBook Pro 17.
