Ladder Treads are available in five materials to match your application. Choose from three steel treads: slip-resistant Grip-Strut, non-slip perforated, or non-slip abrasive coating. All steel treads are supplied with a primer finish. For corrosive or wet environments choose an aluminum step with either slip-resistant Grip-Strut tread or ribbed surface. NOTE: Customer installs non-slip coating on the Steel with Non-Slip Coating treads.

Montague Metal Products are created using hand-made sand casts. Into this, they pour .319 grade recycled aluminum. The resulting products have raised borders ranging from 1/4 to 5/8 thick, with a body thickness between 1/8 and 3/16. This procedure not only helps prevent cracking or splitting, but adds to the longevity of the product. After casting, pieces are cleaned and prepped in the finishing department. Black backgrounds are a baked-on enamel finish and painted finishes consist of two coats of air dry laquer paint. Any borders or lettering are hand applied. After all this work is complete, a semigloss clearcoat is applied for extra shine. Great care is also taken when packaging these fine products.
