Random Thoughts From An Unarmed Writer
Michael Moore is famous. After making his extraordinary directorial debut with Roger & Me and then going on with the early nineties television series, TV Nation, followed by his awesome Canadian Bacon he cemented himself into our culture. After watching his 2002 award-winning movie, Bowling For... Read full review »
Moore Relevant Than Ever
It has been said that great men are often shaped by great events. That is certainly true in the case of Michael Moore, the flamboyant and outspoken director of the award-winning film Roger & Me. Whether or not you agree with him, there is no denying that Moore is a man who stands up for what he... Read full review »
Makes a Bad Situation funny!
"Remember the American Dream? For those of you too young to have experienced it, this is what it used to be:
If you work hard, and your company prospers, you, too, shall prosper.
That dream has gone up in smoke. It has been turned into the American Bad Dream:

Evidently he thinks Downsize is a dirty word, but that's not my objection
When it's supposed to be humorous political commentary, it makes a reviewer's job a lot harder. None. Nada...

Read This!
"Downsize This!", Michael Moore's latest take on American corporate culture, should be required reading for anyone entering the workforce. Moore shows that Horatio Alger skipped town and moved to Mexico long ago. In this day and age,if you work hard and play by the rules, your company could... Read full review »
Once again I'm glad I dont live in America
This book explains in detail how big corporations & politicians operate and is very funny. I love the chapter where he says life should start with the sperm, and millions of men are recklessly aborting their sperm. He does other crazy things like trying to have a politician picked up and put in a... Read full review »
Required reading for corporate America
This book is savagely funny but tainted with questionable figures from certain chapters.
However, after reading Mr. Moore's essay on corporate stupidity, I realize that he is truly enjoying himself at the expense of big business.
The chapter called "Why doesn't GM sell Crack?"...
