Sequel falls disappointingly short
When I read A Wind in the Door, I was sorely disappointed. For some reason, L'Engle's writing wasn't quite what it had been for A Wrinkle in Time or any of the other books concerning the Murray/O'Keefe fan.

a great sequel
This is a great sequel to A Wrinkle in Time. The characters are a little older and a bit more adventuresome. I found it a bit more complex but still simple enough for most preteens to be able to follow the story. Overall I didn't like it as well as A Wrinkle in Time but it was still good reading...
