The BEST Bread Maker We Have Owned!
My wife and I love this thing. We make two to three 1-1/2 pound loaves of whole wheat bread a week.
The loaves rise HIGH (6" or better) and have the classic bread loaf shape!
The texture of our wheat bread is light (not dense) and the taste is outstanding. The reason it is not...

Disappointing
I'm an experienced bread maker and when my original breadmaker finally died I checked with epinions and bought the Zojirushi BBCC-V20. I was disappointed with the performance of the two paddle approach (kneading is not as good as with single paddle against a pole, major holes in the bread which... Read full review »
The Jury is Still Out
I am a very heavy bread machine user and have gone through at least 5 machines over the last 15 years. This is my first Zojirushi and I wanted to treat myself since all the other brands I had previously had wore out quickly and I always ended up making my bread by hand. All reviews I had read made... Great loaf shape, very tasty bread
Had the machine for a couple months, generally very happy with it. The horizontal loaf shape is great. The two paddles mix very well, I've never had an odd-shaped loaf. Have made white, wheat, rye and sourdough breads. The 100% whole wheat recipe is great, a very nice and healthy loaf. Also makes... Read full review »
bakes more than bread
Creates great evenly cooked bread, very easy to use. Even comes with a how-to video. I made a nice cranberry loaf-cake in it, you can also make jams. Takes up a bit of counter space. Has two settings for long cycle and quick baking. It has a crust control, but that only seems to work on the white... Read full review »
Is it good? Is it bad? How is the bread?
I guess those are the questions everyone has.
Problem is - it is not that simple.
The machine is excellent. It works wonderfully.
All functions work exactly as advertised.
BUT - I come from Europe. My taste in bread
is different. I am experimenting with

The Best Machine
I have had my Zojirushi bread machine since Christmas time, and I love it. I have tried another that made 2 1# loaves, but it was not made for a family. It was fine for a single person that didn't want a big loaf of bread. Since having this machine, I found my self making more bread now than I did... Read full review »
Best Bread Machine Yet
The Zojirushi is our third bread machine and the best one yet. We started with a Hitachi (cottage loaf) and used that for several years and than a Toastmaster or Sunbeam (Cottage Loaf but machine didn't last that long), and finally a Zojirushi that is the best yet! We haven't had any problems with... Read full review »
Great disappointment
Used a "Z" machine for over 10 years, when it needed replacing, I didn't hesitate to get another. BIG MISTAKE. This one is EXTREMELY noisy and bread consistency is iffy at best. More times than not, loaves are misshapen. I think the double paddle design was ill designed. It seems that the dough... Read full review »
zojirushi BBCC-V20 Home Bakery Traditional Breadmaker
We have had our above named breadmaker for over 2 weeks now and cannot seem to get a loaf of bread that is enjoyable. We have had several people try our bread and over all opion is not good. We didn't want to spend that much money on a breadmaker but did some research and found this particular one... Read full review »

One of the most wonderful sensory experiences has to be the smell of baking bread. It nourishes the soul and warms the heart, just as the finished product nourishes and warms the body. This bread maker not only makes a splendid horizontal loaf, it's easy to use and clean, meaning it won't join the dud appliances gathering dust while they wait for the next yard sale.
