This is a bi-ocular design night vision goggle, with two oculars, and a single objective. This configuration gives the operator a greater level of depth perception, while keeping the overall size, weight, and cost factor of each unit to a minimum. goggle offers an excellent feature set, including an integral IR illuminator with a spot or flood focus option. The heart of every NVD is its image intensifier. Yukon has selected an excellent 3rd generation plus tube for the Defender. Combined with the power of the IR illuminator, this NVD delivers the performance you need to see clearly in low or no-light situations. Second generation intensifiers last longer, and deliver greater clarity than earlier versions of night vision technology.
