Love mine and still cranking
I've had mine for over 3 years now with no issues what so ever. I've used the FM Transmitter to play through my home stereo and it worked perfectly. Has been a very sturdy unit for me
Maybe I've been extremely lucky, but I've had my XTR1 since May 2005, have used it every day, and I've never had a problem with the unit.

Bang, Bang...........
My unit started the rebooting bit. I have had mine for 1 1/2 years and wasn't going to bother with returning it, so....I just took the receiver out of the boom box and banged it real hard against a metal cabinet and put it back in, turned it on and it works again. NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT
Went kapoot right after warranty was up. Bought a replacement directly from XACT, display stopped working on this one after one week. They would not ship replacement. Not a product that is built to last, unfortunately we purchased boom box & vehicle kit that requires this unit!! Read full review »
DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK

Run...don't walk...
...away from this receiver. I got one for Father's Day along with the CD boombox. Worked fine but as others have said, it ran a little hot. No big deal. I installed a car kit in each of 2 cars to move it back and forth.

Some Free Advice - Don't buy the XAct XTR1 !!!

THIS COMPANY RIPS OFF ITS CUSTOMERS

My luck better than most

STEER CLEAR OF XACT XTR1
I bought the XTR1 on 11/30/05 - took it home only to find it did not work. I returned it same day, and got another. After 3 months it would sometimes fail to lock onto a signal. solid and slightly flawed sirius radio
I have no idea what the other two reviews are all about. Perhaps they ran into a bad streak of luck? I've had my little stream jockey for over 3 months and no problems.
