terrible cooling, expensive
We bought this for an upstairs room. It took 2 hours to decrease the temp from 90 to 85 in a 15x12 room, which should be no problem for a 12K BTU unit. All night long operation, which is loud for a bedroom, it only managed to cool the room to 78, 10 degrees warmer than the outside temp that night!... Read full review »
Disappointed....
As indicated by the previous reviewer, very disappointing performance. Cooling is just ok in my room (16x16 =256 sf), but the dehumidifier that functions automatically when cooling, fills up the internal holding tank at least once a day(running the unit about 4-5 hrs per day). Junk
You can guess the quality of the product from its user guide. Starts from unclear (in fact wrong) installation procedure.
Considering the amount of weight and sound it makes, it does not cool that effectively. Built quality is poor, cheaper plastic.

I bought this from Costco's website since I do not live near a

Doesn't Cool well
I am very unhappy with this unit. It does not cool well at all! The intake hose is too close to the exhaust hose which blows out out extremely hot air.
