Use it for a paperweight instead
I was looking for a quick and inexpensive solution to hems and small craft projects around the house. I have very little sewing experience and thought this would be my solution.
I was wrong!! The instruction manual stinks there are some dark b&w photos and unclear instructions.

Sew Cute Sewing Machine
I cannot express in words how dissatisfied I am with this product. The Sew Cute Sewing Machine comes nowhere near to what wonderful things it says on the box. Let me tell you, spend the money on a nice dinner instead- it will be a lot less hassle and a whole lot better. When using my "machine" the... Read full review »
what can u do with a broken sew cute?
An awful purchase. Bought it for one easy project, straight hems, no big deal. Jams every four inches. Broke three needles. Bobbin housing moved, swerved, jumped, and finally broke. This takes some guessing by an experienced sewer. You must stop and turn the fabric at the beginning and end to back tack, there... Read full review »
Not a sewing machine
I thought it was cute, which it is, but it does not work correctly. The tension is hard to keep correct. It is loud. When running on batteries, it does not work for long and I needed to change batteries often. Read full review »
Good starter machine
The Sew Cute is pretty much what it advertises. It is a portable machine that does a basic locking stitch and is good for hemming or any other project that doesn't require a complicated stitch or have heavy material.
I was given the Sew Cute as a gift because I don't have a house and will...
