DO NOT buy this machine

bycmykbabe Feb 12, 2005

Pros Small, space saving (NOT WORTH IT THOUGH)
Cons Small loads Wrinkles everything Takes forever to wash Broke down after 3 1/2 years
Recommended it? No

It sounded fantastic. Sure it wasn't cheap, but it was environmentally sound and the space this thing would save!! Never mind the convenience of putting in dirty laundry and coming back to nice clean and dry clothes. With a new baby on the way, it seemed like a good idea. WERE WE WRONG!!!

Pros none
Cons It breaks if you look at it.
Recommended it? No

I bought this machine on-line from a distributer. It was on sale as a display model but still carried a year warranty - the same one the new ones carried. I ended up calling for repair - no joke - about 8 times the first year. I can't tell if the equipment was faulty, the repair man didn't know... Read full review »

These Are The YUGO of Appliances

bymomaintenance Feb 23, 2006

Pros Convenient for small loads
Cons Too fragile and the parts are of low quality.
Recommended it? No

I am a maintenance man for an apartment building and we have 112 of these machines. I have so far repaired about 90 of them and they are less than 4 years old. The main problem is with the dryer blower motor burning out. We get parts from a California company that is almost impossible to get in... Read full review »

Get this junk out of my life!

Pros I don't have to take credit for bringing this home from the store.<br>
Cons Supposedly it washes and dries laundry. I'm still waiting for this to happen.
Recommended it? No

This beast came with my new condo, and I was thrilled to have such a nifty device! While it washed clothes fine, it did try to bang its way through the laundry room door in the process. Drying was another story. After 120 minutes, my clothes were barely warm. After another 120 minutes, they're... Read full review »

DANGEROUS MACHINE ! Flooded apartment twice, no service help

Pros Takes little space--If it worked it would be great.
Cons Flooded our house twice. No after-service, dealer not calling back. Repairs didn't...
Recommended it? No

I guess "radarlover" is the dealers brother in law. This washer/drier combo is a good idea in theory but the quality is horrible and the dealer Mr. Roger Pearson in California does not answer phones or call you back. Our dealings with him have been a nightmare. Read full review »

Pros Efficient and compact. great for apartments.
Cons small load size.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought mine in 1999 and it still works great. I haven't had any of the problems/complaints that the other reviewers had, so I thought I put in a good word for the quietline. I've used it both in portable mode when living in small apartments and as a permanent hookup. Both worked well, but I admit... Read full review »

sounds like a neat appliance but...

Pros small size, don't have to transfer load to dryer
Cons long drying time, super wrinkled clothes, poor quality
Recommended it? No

I bought this product because I was living in an apartment and I wanted something small, efficient, and usable without a washer/dryer hookup.

It was ok for most of the first year but then some part of the door latch broke/stuck and I had to stick my hand in several times to get it working... Read full review »
