And the nonstick lining ensures a quick clean-up, a nice bonus after an evening of entertaining An adjustable control allows for a wide range of temperatures, from gentle melting of chocolate to a more formidable heat needed for hot oil fondues. The power cord has a breakaway safety function that will immediately detach and cut power to the device if it is jostled. The West Bend 3-quart Electric Fondue Pot comes with eight fondue forks, with black plastic handles and the classic color-coded finials--the three primary colors and white. The enclosed booklet includes recipes for cheese, broth, oil, and dessert fondues. Clean-up is very easy; warm soapy water will do the trick. To protect nonstick finish, do not use scratchy, abrasive cleaners on any part of the fondue pot. With the temperature/power cord removed, the fondue pot is and dishwasher-safe.
