Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker

I am fortunate enough to live in an area of the country where we can BBQ probably 10 months out of the year. Heck, it's November and I sit and write this in shorts and a tank top and will most likely be using this grill this evening! Enough of the joys of... Read full review »

Pros Most foolproof smoker on the market. Holds temperature as steady as an oven!
Cons Limited area for meat, shallow waterpan
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased my WSM about 8 months ago, and I literally have only missed only about 5 weekends worth of smoking since I bought it. I have smoked so much meat, my WSM hardly has a chance to cool off before I'm lighting it up again.

The WSM is so easy to use and foolproof, it makes a GREAT... Read full review »

Pros Sturdy steel body.
Cons Feed door isn't tight to the smoker. Flimsy vents. Liquid pan is tippy.
Recommended it? No

Reading the rave reviews here I must say that I think I got a reject. I actually had to double check my grill to make sure that it's a Weber and not just a look alike. Well, it is a Weber and without actually being able to verify that a few things have been fixed I'm never buying one of these... Read full review »

I got turned on to back yard stovepipe water smokers over 25 years ago while living in the Southwest. Working and playing with a group of accomplished cooks and outdoor enthusiasts, I was introduced to the delicious joys of smoked meat at home. For many years I've used a couple of Brinkman "Cookin'... Read full review »

In the world of backyard patios, there are many types of cooking mechanisms. From the basic kettle to the built-in natural gas grill with side-burners and infra-red rotisseries. These are the tools of the 'griller'. The grill is pre-heated, the food is cooked, and the entire process completed on... Read full review »

poor quality repeated problem

Pros name brand
Cons poor quality
Recommended it? No

The smoker arrived with the central section (the chimney) being defective. The porcelain flakes off at the corner of the rectangular opening for the door. The door does not fit the opening at all and there is a large gap when it is closed. Weber promised to replace it right away but a few days... Read full review »

I got my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker (WSM) about a month ago from Dickson Supply (http://www.dicksonsupply.com). This is the third Weber product that I own, and I am a customer for life. After I bought my first Weber, a Smokey Joe, I sent in my registration card, not expecting anything in... Read full review »
