Avoid it
I tried this based on other reviews of Waring. I make a blender drink with frozen fruit and it can really bog down a blender, many blenders just spin without mixing the ingredients together forcing the use of a wooden spoon to help with an occasional resulting mess (that is what happened to this... Blends nicely, but it drips
I use this blender 2-3x per week for smoothies. I'm satisfied with its ability to quickly turn frozen fruit and yogurt into creamy concoctions. I don't know the purpose for 2 speeds.
